C. W. Knobloch, Sr. opened the Knobloch Insurance Agency in the basement of his home in Lansdowne, MD in 1934 at the age of 22, ten years after he began working for Employers' Fire Insurance Company. Yes, he was 10 years old when he became an office boy delivering mail on roller skates for the company.

C. William (Bill) Knobloch, Jr. began working for his father on a part-time basis as an office clerk/agent in 1970. When Bill's father passed away, Bill and wife Carol purchased the agency from his mother. In 1992, the agency was moved from Arbutus to Manchester, Maryland.

C. William (Bill) Knobloch, III joined the agency in 1992, after attending Colorado State University. Bill III is now the owner/president of the agency since purchasing it from his father as of January 1, 2005.

The Knobloch agency is comprised of seven employees. Bill, III says his staff are like extended family; everyone works well together and are excellent insurance professionals. Staff is a component of the agency's success along with customer care and company relationships.
 

C. William Knobloch III, Owner/President – Bill has been a licensed property and casualty agent since 1992. He has been a board member of the Independent Agents of Maryland since 2007 and will be appointed President in 2009. In addition to his value of client relationships, he nurtures his company relationships by serving on their advisory councils. Currently Bill is chairman of the Advisory Council of Donegal Insurance.

C. William Knobloch Jr., Commercial Lines Agent - Bill Jr. has been a multi-state licensed property, casualty and life insurance agent since 1970. He has served on various advisory committees for regional and national insurers and is a past board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland. Bill currently serves on the advisory boards of several community businesses.

Rodney Leese Jr., Agent , All lines - Rodney joined Knobloch Insurance in 2003. He is licensed in Property, Casualty and Life Insurance in multiple states. Rodney earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UMBC, in 1991. Rodney has been appointed as a board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Carroll County in 2009.

Nadine Morningstar, Commercial Lines CSR, Agent - Nadine obtained her Pennsylvania insurance license in 1991. She has more than twelve years commercial lines experience. Nadine joined Knobloch Insurance Agency in 2003 at which time she obtained her Maryland Insurance license and expanded her knowledge to include personal lines.

Kris Jordan,  Personal Lines CSR, Agent – Kris joined Knobloch Insurance Agency in 2007 at which time she obtained her Maryland Insurance license.
